Job Description
Overview As the Church Creative Communications Coordinator, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive communication and marketing strategies to effectively engage the church community and reach broader audiences. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative vision, and strong leadership skills to drive initiatives that support the church's mission and growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Planning:
- Develop integrated communication and marketing plans aligned with the church's mission, values, and strategic goals.
- Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively reach and engage them through various channels.
Content Creation and Management:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for diverse channels including website, social media (Instagram, Facebook, youtube, Website, App), email newsletters, print materials, and sermon series graphic packages.
- Ensure all communication materials maintain brand consistency and effectively communicate key messages.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage the church's digital marketing efforts, including website optimization, search engine marketing (SEM), social media advertising, and email campaigns.
- Analyze digital metrics and performance data to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
Community Engagement:
- Foster meaningful relationships with church members, volunteers, and the broader community through strategic communication and engagement efforts.
- Develop and promote church events, programs, and initiatives online to increase participation and community involvement.
Public Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage media relations to promote positive coverage of the church.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Collaborate with other church staff and ministry leaders to ensure alignment of communication and marketing efforts with overall organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field is preffered.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or comparable design software is preferred.
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and analytics platforms is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of the Christian church's mission, values, and theological perspectives.
Pay:
