Job Description
Overview:
Katzman Produce is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate interested in marketing, branding, communications, and social media to gain hands-on experience in the produce industry. The intern will work closely with the Marketing & Communications team and collaborate with other departments to support marketing initiatives, organize assets, assist with content creation, and help maintain company branding efforts across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a genuine interest in learning about marketing!Key Responsibilities:
Source, organize, and maintain photo/video assets and marketing files Assist with inventory and organization of physical marketing materials and apparel Assist with website updates, including posting company news, announcements etc. (WordPress experience a plus but not required) Help create promotional and/or branded materials like digital graphics, PowerPoints or one-pagers Support basic photo and video editing for short-form content and marketing materials (experience is a plus, not required) Assist in developing, drafting and scheduling content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) Research social media strategies and trends to support engagement and visibility Update and maintain media lists for public relations and outreach initiatives Support day-to-day internal marketing tasks, including assisting with requests from other departments, facilitating communications, and supporting organization, scheduling and follow-up Shadow marketing staff during planning meetings and assist at company events (e.g., setup, content capture)Requirements:
Creative thinker with a strong interest in marketing, branding, digital content, storytelling or communications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks Friendly, approachable, and professional with strong interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Comfortable using or learning new software and platforms (like social media, Canva, WordPress, Adobe Suite)What We Offer:
