About this Position Help future Cowboys find their place at OSU! As part of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, our creative and collaborative communications team is responsible for strategic communication, marketing, and outreach efforts to prospective students, their families, and other internal and external audiences. This includes creating engaging content and executing a robust communication flow for email, print, social media, web, events, and more. Primary objectives include assisting with event marketing, including email, print and web, and executing social media campaigns in partnership with the communications coordinator and Brand Management. This role requires extensive attention to detail and interpersonal skills needed to collaborate with partners across campus and within the Division of Enrollment Management. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Demonstrated experience in communications, marketing or closely related field, including, but not limited to, social media, video, web, copy writing, copy editing and content creation. Certifications, Registrations, and/or
Licenses:
Valid driver's license Skills, Proficiencies, and/or
Knowledge:
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to organize materials, write, edit, visualize concepts, communicate, and interpret goals, including demonstrated proficiency in the use of AP style and adaptive writing. Social media experience is required. Knowledge of communications and ability to align content with audience needs. Must learn quickly and adapt to a quickly changing environment. Preferred Qualifications Relevant experience executing marketing and social media campaigns and experience with using a project management system.
