Job Description

Schnitzer Properties and its affiliated foundations, The Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation and the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation, is seeking a summer Marketing and Communications Intern to gain real world experience in marketing and communications for one of the top 10 private real estate owners in the West with nationally recognized philanthropic initiatives and a world-class art program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS
: Produce journalist or special guest briefings Schedule and conduct employee and tenant feature interviews Produce museum partner briefings Conduct press follow-up calls from press advisories Maintain a multi-tier press contact list Develop a long-term social media content calendar Produce social media posts Capture and edit video for social media and website use Produce Schnitzer Properties and Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation newsletter items Organize and maintain press clips Manage press packets Manage MailChimp invitation lists and email distribution Organize and maintain binders for: Art exhibitions Museums Ads Art booklets Schnitzer Properties brochures Schnitzer Properties and Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation newsletters Develop CARE Foundation annual report content Produce artist outreach letters Manage artist and artist estate contacts Miscellaneous event-related duties Other duties as assigned Experience, training, skills required: Rising university or college juniors and seniors or graduate students majoring in communications, journalism or marketing.
Education:
High School Diploma or
GED. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
