Job Description

Description Delavan Holdings is seeking an Employee Communications & Engagement Specialist to support internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and company culture programs across a growing family of businesses including Kunes Auto Group, Kunes RV, Lake Lawn Resort, G10 Fulfillment, Camp Timber-lee, and shared services operations. This role is responsible for creating employee-facing content, supporting communication campaigns, managing Paylocity Community content, and helping ensure employees stay informed, connected, and engaged. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, organized project coordinator, and creative communicator who enjoys creating content and supporting employee experience initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Create employee announcements, newsletters, and internal communications
  • Manage content and engagement within Paylocity Community
  • Support employee recognition programs and culture initiatives
  • Assist with onboarding communications and new hire welcome content
  • Coordinate communication calendars and scheduling
  • Create basic graphics and visual content using Canva or similar tools
  • Help promote company events, benefits enrollment, wellness initiatives, and employee programs
  • Gather stories, photos, and content from operating companies
  • Maintain communication templates and employee communication resources
  • Track engagement metrics and participation rates
  • Support HR and leadership teams with communication requests
  • Ensure communications are clear, timely, and consistent Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, employee engagement, HR, public relations, or related fields
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools preferred
  • Experience with social media, newsletters, or employee communications preferred
  • Paylocity experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
