Job Description:
Content Creation & Visual Production Create high-quality visual and digital content to support the Hamilton School's marketing and communications efforts. Capture and edit photography and video across events, classrooms, faculty talks, and student activities. Produce short-form and long-form video content for social media and web use. Design graphics, flyers, and promotional materials aligned with University of Florida branding standards. Maintain and organize a media library of photo, video, and graphic assets for ongoing use. Communications & Digital Execution Assist in executing the Hamilton School's communications plan across digital platforms, including social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and website updates. Draft captions, format content, and support publishing across Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and other platforms. Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all materials. Support on-campus distribution of marketing materials and digital promotion of events. Event Coverage & Support Provide on-site support for Hamilton School events through photography, videography, and real-time content capture. Assist with the creation of event-related promotional materials and ensure timely content delivery for post-event communications. Media & Communications Support Provide support for media and communications efforts by assisting in the preparation of press materials, drafting content, and coordinating logistics as needed. Analytics & Reporting Support Assist in tracking and reporting on digital and social media performance. Support the collection of data related to marketing campaigns and provide insights to inform future content and engagement strategies. Expected Salary:
$65,000-$70,000
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience; or an Associate's degree and six years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred A bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field and eight years of professional experience. Significant ability in audio/visual production and editing is desired. Experience working with multiple media and press outlets. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments. Experience with online content platforms and/or website curation preferred. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team toward organizational objectives. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe products, and other professional design software, as well as Canva, HTML and CSS languages for managing and building websites.
