Job Description

Social Media Strategy & Content Creator Full-Time Exempt | Communications We re seeking an experienced Social Media Strategy & Content Creator to own and lead our social presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for strategy, content creation, and performance-driving engagement and reaching people with meaningful, high-quality content. Responsibilities Lead social media strategy and execution across platforms that translates the brand vision Plan and manage a 30-day content calendar Create high-performing content (short-form video, photo, copy) that grows reach Capture content during weekend services and events Manage comments, DMs, and community engagement Analyze performance and continuously improve results Collaborate with teams and lead volunteer contributors (photo, video, editing and on-camera talent) Non-Negotiables 3-5+ years of professional social media strategy and content experience Proven experience leading and directing content-not just posting Strong portfolio of high-performing content (especially short-form video) Ability to both create and think strategically at a high level Comfortable working in fast-paced, live-event environments Requirements Excellent writing and communication skills Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and analytics Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects Experience with content tools (e.g., Adobe, Meta Business Suite, Later) Preferred Portfolio includes examples of content with measurable engagement or growth metrics (e.g., reach, saves, shares, follower growth) Experience in a church, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization Schedule Weekend availability required Presence at key events required Flexible weekday scheduling as appropriate To Apply Please include a portfolio of relevant social media work (links required).
