Creative Arts and Communication (CAC) Reports to:Executive Pastor General Function:
The Director of CAC is a Central Role, reporting to the Executive Pastor. This person is responsible for strategic internal and external communications of One Life Church. This position is directly responsible for web, social media, print, creative elements and other avenues of communication that adhere to the One Life Church branding guideline.Know How:
Candidate must have a working knowledge of processes and media of communication. He/she must be able to strategize, prioritize, and plan. He/She must be able to manage teams and enable others to grow. He/She must also be able to invite, invest in, and develop volunteers. Must be skilled in graphic design and other creative media outlets.Qualification:
Prefer a candidate with undergraduate degree in communications, graphic design, art or related field, or equivalent experience. Must have solid oral and written communication skills. Experience in computer graphic design, production, and team-building experience preferred. Must have a servant leader mindset, be strongly gifted in communication, and demonstrate a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must have a passion for and commitment to One Life Church's mission and values. This person is expected to attend and participate in life at One Life Church. Responsibilities Create and implement promotional strategies for One Life Church initiatives and events that promote congregational engagement, while decreasing communication clutter. Maintain and expand a communication strategy through all current social media avenues including: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms as needed. Serve as the Broadcast Director and team leader for One Life Sunday morning broadcast teams. Help produce videos for communications, storytelling, announcements and updates at One Life central services and events. Maintain and update the One Life website, app and other digital platforms. Capture One Life Church events and culture through photos and stories that can be shared online. Assist and monitor campus communications. Manage projects for the Creative Arts & Communications volunteer team. Assist executive leaders with communication to the congregation. Refine and simplify communications on a consistent basis. Equip staff and leaders with communication philosophy, brand guidelines, and training. Create high quality church-wide graphics and visuals for digital, web, print, social media and the One Life Church app. Drive the quality and creative elements for the content of weekend experiences across One Life Church campuses. Design and create in building signage and creative installations (Wall signage, handouts, outdoor building signs, etc.). Be part of the team recording and editing the weekly service. Film, edit, and produce short videos for social media and central church services/events. Create any designs for public advertisement through local media, or social media advertising. Effect on End Result This position will be considered successful when: There is consistent growth in response per energy spent in communication, measured through various forms including increased attendance in services, volunteer engagement, and attendee participation. Leaders have clear avenues available to them for communication of ministry events. All brand communications are effectively produced and displayed across campuses. Church values are clear, concise, and prioritized. Reduction of communications clutter and increase in clarity is achieved. Communication strategy and philosophy is clear and adhered to across all campuses and ministries.TO APPLY
