Job Description
Have a good eye and a way with words? Love making content for something you actually care about? Come tell our story. We're the world's smallest, hardest-to-find, but best-reviewed ice cream shop. We need someone to help us tell that story in photos, video, and words. The role About ten hours a week. You'll come to the shop, shoot content (photos, Instagram Reels, short video), write captions, and send our weekly customer newsletter. You'll bring your own ideas on aesthetic and approach. We want someone who can make people stop scrolling. What we're looking for Experience running social media or a newsletter for yourself or another business (portfolio required) Comfortable shooting Instagram Reels and photos on-site Strong writer who edits carefully before hitting send Able to come to the shop in Saugerties A point of view on social media Nice to have but not required Familiarity with Square Marketing or similar email platforms Background in food, hospitality, or local small business Details Hudson Valley local required. Starting as soon as possible. May through October, with potential for year-round work depending on how things go.
