Owner/Management Job Summary Blake's BBQ is looking for a creative, dependable, and customer-focused Social Media & Community Content Coordinator to grow our online presence and help tell our story. This person will create content, manage our social media platforms, engage with our audience, and help turn online attention into real customers, catering leads, and stronger community awareness. This role is about more than posting pictures of barbecue. We want someone who understands how to showcase great food, great people, and great service in a way that feels real, local, and on-brand. Our messaging should be short, memorable, community-focused, and professional while still feeling fun and approachable. What You'll Do Create and post content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms Capture photos and videos of food, team members, catering, events, and in-store moments Write captions and posts that match the Blake's BBQ voice: playful, clear, welcoming, and professional. Respond to comments, messages, reviews, and online customer interactions in a timely and professional way Promote menu items, specials, catering, events, and community involvement Help build local brand awareness and increase engagement with current and new customers Track performance of posts and report on growth, engagement, and lead generation Work with management to plan content calendars, campaigns, and promotions Make sure all visuals and branding follow Blake's BBQ standards, including logo use, colors, and overall presentation. What We're Looking For Experience creating content for social media for a business, restaurant, or local brand Strong photo/video skills using a phone or camera Comfortable editing short-form video content and graphics Strong writing skills with the ability to match a brand voice Friendly, professional, and responsive in customer interactions Organized, dependable, and able to work independently Able to spot great moments in the restaurant and turn them into engaging content Understanding of what drives local engagement, foot traffic, and catering interest Basic knowledge of branding and visual consistency Bonus Points If You Have Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or food-service marketing Experience running paid social ads Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools Experience taking content that drives catering or event inquiries Knowledge of local community marketing What Success Looks Like in This Role Consistent, high-quality weekly posting Stronger engagement with local customers More catering inquiries and direct messages Increased awareness of Blake's BBQ in the community Content that reflects our customer-first identity and keeps our brand looking polished and recognizable. Brand Expectations At Blake's BBQ, everything we put out should reflect who we are: dependable, customer-focused, community-minded, and professional. Content should highlight service, trust, consistency, and genuine connection. All design and creative work must follow brand standards, including proper logo use and approved visual presentation.
