This role focuses on real-time engagement, customer care, and community building while translating consumer insights into actionable recommendations for internal teams. The ideal candidate lives in the social ecosystem, writes exceptionally well, and brings a customer-obsessed mindset with a strong interest in beauty and lifestyle brands. The Basics

Hybrid in Berkeley Heights, NJ Top 3 Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing and engaging communities across major social media platforms with strong, consumer-facing writing skills
Ability to deliver timely, high-quality customer support in a fast-paced environment while meeting response time, reply rate, and satisfaction KPIs
Strong understanding of social media trends, tools, and best practices, with the ability to turn insights into recommendations Other Qualifications
A bachelors degree and 1 to 2 years of social media engagement experience are preferred, along with customer service experience. The role requires high attention to detail, organization, adaptability, and a sense of urgency. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and with cross-functional teams, reporting insights that inform product, experience, and content strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected, as well as an interest in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands. Key Responsibilities Engage with fans and consumers across social platforms in a timely, brand-appropriate manner and serve as a digital beauty advisor
Maintain established reply rate, response time, consumer satisfaction, and sentiment goals across channels
Compose clear, accurate, and empathetic responses tailored to individual consumer needs and inquiries
Monitor and report on personal and channel-level KPIs using social management tools
Escalate critical customer complaints and collaborate with internal teams to support issue resolution
Document product issues and consumer feedback accurately within CRM and survey tools to ensure data integrity
Provide insights and recommendations based on consumer trends, feedback, and social listening
Stay current on emerging platforms, tools, and best practices through ongoing learning and team trainings In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
