Do you love filming, editing, creating engaging videos, and bringing brands to life through social media? BarkSuds Sugar Land is looking for a creative, energetic Content & Social Media Coordinator to help grow our brand through compelling content, community engagement, and fresh marketing ideas. This is not a desk job. We're looking for someone who enjoys being in the salon, interacting with dogs, customers, and staff, and capturing the moments that make people stop scrolling. What You'll Do Content Creation Film and photograph dogs, staff, services, and customer experiences in the salon Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, Facebook content, and Stories Capture before-and-after transformations, grooming processes, and behind-the-scenes moments Edit short-form videos optimized for social media platforms Stay current on trends and identify opportunities to incorporate them into our content Build and maintain a content library of photos and videos for future campaigns Social Media Management Manage and maintain BarkSuds social media accounts Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely, professional manner Track content performance and provide recommendations for improvement Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity Marketing & Brand Development Develop creative campaign ideas and promotional content Create Canva graphics for social media, events, and marketing materials Assist with seasonal promotions, membership campaigns, and special events Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement Collaborate with ownership on marketing initiatives and business goals Research competitors and industry trends to keep BarkSuds top of mind in the local market Qualifications Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools Comfortable filming with a smartphone and basic content creation equipment Creative mindset with an eye for storytelling and branding Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes Reliable transportation Bonus Qualifications Pet industry experience Photography experience Graphic design experience Experience managing business social media accounts Knowledge of Meta Business Suite Experience running paid social media campaigns Schedule Part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week) Flexible schedule Must be available to spend time in the salon creating content each week Some work may be completed remotely Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity for performance-based bonuses tied to growth and engagement Flexible work environment Plenty of adorable content subjects every day Success Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: Consistent content production and posting schedule Growth in followers, reach, and engagement Increased website visits and appointment inquiries from social media Membership leads generated through social channels Overall brand awareness and community engagement To Apply Please send: Your resume Links to social media accounts you manage or content you've created A brief explanation of why you'd be a great fit for BarkSuds Examples of Reels, TikToks, or other short-form video content you've produced Application Challenge As part of your application, please include: Three social media content ideas you would create specifically for BarkSuds Sugar Land.
