Job Description

We're a multi-location chiropractic brand in the San Francisco Bay Area on a mission to challenge outdated beliefs about pain and healing. We don't want more "tips and tricks" content. We want someone who can make myth-busting, educational chiropractic content actually win on social media. Right now, our humorous content performs. Our educational content doesn't. We need someone who knows how to bridge that gap. The Problem You'll Solve We know what we want to say. We don't know how to package it so people stop scrolling, watch, and book. You will be responsible for turning skeptical, educational, and authority-driven messaging into short-form content that: Hooks hard Holds attention Builds trust Drives patient bookings This is not a "post 3 times a week" role. This is a growth role. What You'll Own Content Strategy Define repeatable short-form formats that make educational content perform Develop myth-busting and authority-driven content frameworks Align messaging with patient acquisition goals Creative Direction Script strong hooks and retention-driven storytelling Direct filming (in-person preferred, Bay Area) Blend entertainment with credibility Execution Film and edit short-form video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style formats) Create consistent weekly output Repurpose testimonials, case studies, and patient stories Optimization Analyze watch time, retention curves, saves, shares, and conversions Iterate based on performance data Identify patterns in what makes education convert What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) Establish 2-3 repeatable short-form content series Increase average watch time and retention across educational videos Generate measurable patient inquiries from organic content Deliver consistent weekly content cadence Who This Is For You are: A short-form operator who understands retention psychology Experienced turning "boring" or complex topics into engaging content Comfortable owning both strategy and execution Performance-minded, not vanity-metric focused Confident directing subject-matter experts on camera Bonus if you have worked in: Healthcare Wellness High-trust service industries Details Contract | 15-20 hrs/week $40-$50/hr DOE Hybrid preferred (Bay Area for filming sessions)
