Full-Time Social Media Manager We are a dynamic company with its own unique brand identity and social media presence. We're looking for a passionate, creative, and highly driven Full-Time Social Media Manager to lead and grow our brand across Instagram and TikTok. This is an in-office role based in Merrifield, VA — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to make a real impact on brand growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Building & Strategy:
Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy, driving brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement. Proactively bring forward ideas and recommendations to advance the brand.
Content Creation & Management:
Create, curate, and edit high-quality content — including photos, short-form videos, motion-images, reels, TikToks, captions, and stories — tailored to the voice and aesthetic of the brand.
Instagram & TikTok Management:
Own the day-to-day management of our Instagram and TikTok accounts, including content planning, posting, and platform optimization.
Community Engagement:
Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across all accounts in a timely and on-brand manner, fostering a strong and loyal online community.
Behind-the-Scenes Content:
Film and capture behind-the-scenes moments in the office and at events, bringing authenticity and personality to our brand storytelling.
Event Coverage:
Travel with the team to events (all travel expenses covered) to capture and share real-time content that elevates our brand presence.
Content Calendar:
Own and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent, strategic, and timely delivery of content across all accounts and platforms.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track key performance metrics across all accounts, delivering monthly reports with actionable insights to inform and refine strategy.
Trend Monitoring:
Stay ahead of social media trends, platform algorithm updates, audio trends, and competitor activity — and turn that knowledge into strategic recommendations.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams to gather promotional content, company updates, and campaign materials that align with overall business goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts for businesses or brands, with a strong portfolio to show for it. Demonstrated ability to build and grow a brand through social media. Skilled in short-form video editing and content creation (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent. Comfortable behind a phone camera — both filming and photography experience a plus. Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok analytics and platform best practices. Ability to adapt tone, style, and content approach across distinct brand identities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas and a proactive approach to brand building.
Schedule & Work Environment:
Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM In-office position based in Fairfax, VA, with dedicated workstation All equipment provided by the company Travel to events as needed (all expenses covered)
