Position Type:
Part-time (15-20 hours per week) Job Overview We are seeking a creative and organized Content and Social Media Creator to manage and grow the social media presence for our schools. This part-time role involves creating engaging content, maintaining a consistent posting schedule, and fostering positive engagement with our community. The ideal candidate will be comfortable capturing photos and videos in classroom settings while adhering to privacy policies, and will be passionate about highlighting learning, curriculum, and family engagement.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation:
Take photos and videos in classrooms while strictly following privacy policies. Create engaging posts including captions, graphics, reels, and other multimedia content.
Posting & Scheduling:
Maintain a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms. Plan content ahead using weekly or monthly content calendars.
Engagement:
Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. Monitor social media interactions and maintain a positive and professional tone.
Brand Representation:
Ensure all posts reflect the program's values, professionalism, and quality. Highlight learning experiences, curriculum highlights, and family engagement activities. Qualifications & Skills Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and content creation tools. Experience with design programs such as Canva Strong photography and videography skills, with attention to privacy and consent. Excellent written communication skills for crafting captions and engaging posts. Ability to plan and organize content calendars effectively. Professional and positive communication style when engaging with the community. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently within a part-time schedule.
