Content Specialist

Description We are looking for a Content Specialist to join our team in Texas on a contract basis with the potential for a long-term opportunity. This role is ideal for a creative and highly organized individual who can shape compelling written and digital content that supports brand visibility and audience engagement. The position focuses on developing, refining, and managing content across multiple channels while maintaining a consistent editorial voice. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver effective messaging for web, blog, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage content for digital channels, including blogs, website pages, social platforms, and campaign materials.
• Review and refine written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
• Develop editorial content that supports marketing goals and strengthens audience engagement.
• Plan and execute social media content strategies that reflect business priorities and campaign objectives.
• Write and adapt messaging for social media advertising initiatives across relevant platforms.
• Coordinate content calendars and maintain organized publishing schedules for ongoing initiatives.
• Produce video script content that supports promotional, educational, or brand-focused communications.
• Monitor content performance and recommend updates to improve reach, quality, and user engagement. Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in content management, content development, or editorial content roles.
• Demonstrated ability to write, edit, and manage content for blogs, websites, and social media channels.
• Experience supporting social media strategy, campaign execution, and paid social advertising efforts.
• Strong editing skills with a careful eye for grammar, tone, structure, and brand consistency.
• Familiarity with social media management practices and commonly used social media tools.
• Ability to create clear, audience-focused messaging for a variety of digital formats, including video scripts.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
