Overview Based in North Phoenix, Spellbinders inspires crafters and DIY'ers to pursue a creative life by offering die cutting machines and related products they can use to create beautiful handmade cards, scrapbook layouts, and other handcrafted projects. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and digitally savvy Assistant Ecommerce to help drive and optimize our direct-to-consumer online business. This role will be a key contributor to our Shopify-powered storefront, working closely with the Ecommerce Manager to enhance the customer experience, grow online revenue, and execute day-to-day digital operations. Key Responsibilities Website & Shopify Management Assist in managing and maintaining the Spellbinders Shopify storefront, including content updates, navigation, banners, and landing pages Support the creation and publishing of new product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, imagery, pricing, and categorization Monitor site health, identify UX issues, and coordinate with developers or the Ecommerce Manager to implement fixes and improvements Assist with A/B testing, page optimization, and conversion rate improvement initiatives Merchandising & Product Listings Build and maintain product collections, bundles, and seasonal features on the storefront Ensure product catalog data is complete, accurate, and consistently formatted across all listings Coordinate with the creative and product teams to ensure timely launch of new product pages Support promotional setups including discount codes, tiered pricing, and limited-time offers Email Marketing Assist in the planning, building, and deployment of email campaigns including promotional sends, product launches, and automated flows Segment audiences and tailor messaging to drive engagement and repeat purchase Monitor email KPIs (open rates, click-through rates, revenue per send) and share findings with the team Maintain the email calendar and coordinate content needs with the creative team Analytics & Reporting Pull and analyze data from Shopify, Google Analytics, and email platforms to track site performance, campaign results, and customer behavior Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for the Ecommerce Manager Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement based on data insights Support post-campaign analysis and contribute to planning for future initiatives Experience Required 2-4 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related field Hands-on experience with Shopify (product management, theme editing, discount/promo setup) Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo or similar) Proficiency in Google Analytics or comparable analytics tools Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter mentality with the ability to work cross-functionally Direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce experience is a strong plus Knowledge of or passion for paper crafting, DIY, or creative hobbies is a significant plus
