Job Description

Position Purpose:
The eCommerce Team Leader manages daily operations of store online orders placed through a variety of platforms. They direct their team to maintain accuracy, achieve timelines and meet service level expectations to provide a great online shopping experience for customers. They may serve as a point of contact with third-party partners and ensure training of new hire team members.
Responsibilities:
The eCommerce Team Leader helps lead a team and execute day-to-day operations in eCommerce, supporting a positive online shopping experience for customers. An eCommerce Team Lead's responsibilities include: Directing daily operations of online order fulfillment across all eCommerce platforms to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion. Leading, coaching, training, and evaluating eCommerce team members while serving as a positive role model within the department. Creating a department environment team members want to work in and customers want to shop in. Utilizing reporting tools, metrics, and service level standards to coach team members on productivity, order accuracy, substitutions, freshness expectations, and completion timelines. Creating and adjusting department schedules based on established guidelines and order volume needs. Communicating staffing needs to store leadership and assisting with candidate selection. Ensuring new eCommerce team members are properly trained on systems, tools, safety standards, and company processes. Maintaining a working knowledge of store products, departments, and offerings to support effective order fulfillment and substitutions. Ensuring compliance with all health department and weights and measures department policies and requirements. Ensuring company safety guidelines are followed by all eCommerce team members. Serving as a point of contact for third‑party eCommerce partners and ensuring proper escalation of issues when needed. All other related duties as assigned.
