We design and source a curated catalog of high-quality components and sell almost exclusively online to a passionate global customer base. We move fast, operate lean, and are building the systems to scale — this role is critical to that effort. The Role You'll be the connective tissue of our day-to-day operations — keeping our ecommerce systems running smoothly, our team on-task, and our data working for us. Reporting directly to the CEO/Owner, you'll also work closely alongside the Supply Chain Manager to coordinate budgets, align on promotional timing, and ensure operations and sourcing are always in sync. If you see a manual process and immediately start thinking about how to fix it, and if you're the kind of person who opens a spreadsheet and looks for the story in the numbers, this role is for you. What You'll Own Ecommerce & systems Own and maintain our core software stack — including our ecommerce platform, warehouse management system (WMS), shipping platform, CRM, and project management tool Manage batch product data imports/exports — inventory locations, pricing updates, and sale event uploads Monitor and maintain integrations between platforms; troubleshoot errors and document solutions Proactively identify and implement automations and workflow improvements — for example, automating shipping invoice reconciliation to flag rate discrepancies without manual review Evaluate and onboard new tools or integrations that reduce manual work and improve visibility across the operation Coordinate scheduling and admin for contractors (photo/video and engineering) Data analysis & promotional coordination Work alongside the Supply Chain Manager to maintain budgets and coordinate the timing and execution of sales promotions Analyze product performance data to determine which discounts drive the most profitable volume — identifying what works, what doesn't, and why Track sales trends, SKU-level velocity, and promotional lift to inform future pricing and campaign decisions Surface patterns and anomalies in operational data — shipping costs, order volumes, return rates — and bring findings to ownership with clear recommendations Build and maintain reporting that gives ownership clear, current visibility into operational and sales performance Team coordination Oversee the day-to-day work of the customer service agent, warehouse lead, shipping agent, and assembly/receiving hire Set daily and weekly priorities; ensure everyone understands what matters and why Manage task assignments, deadlines, and accountability through the project management platform Onboard and manage the assembly/receiving hire; document and enforce SOPs Admin & finance coordination Submit payroll on schedule, every cycle without exception Record and track incoming invoices; schedule vendor payments and outgoing checks in coordination with the owner Attend weekly budget meetings with the owner and Supply Chain Manager; translate cash flow decisions into operational scheduling Maintain organized financial records across systems — nothing falls through the cracks Process improvement Audit existing workflows regularly and implement meaningful, measurable improvements Maintain and update SOPs for all recurring operational tasks; ensure nothing is undocumented Document integration nuances and system logic What We're Looking For Required 3+ years in operations, ecommerce operations, or a similar role with direct responsibility for team coordination and systems management Hands-on experience managing an ecommerce platform at the backend level — product data, pricing, inventory, and integrations Comfortable with data: you can work with sales and operational data, identify patterns and trends, and translate findings into clear recommendations Experience with ecommerce shipping platforms and understanding of how carrier rates, labels, and fulfillment workflows function Comfortable in a multi-app software environment — you pick up new tools quickly and use them well Strong organizational skills — you manage competing priorities without anything slipping Detail-oriented with administrative tasks: payroll, invoices, and payment scheduling Clear written and verbal communicator; comfortable directing a small team and working directly with ownership Proactive problem-solver — when you find a broken or manual process, you fix it Nice to have Experience with WMS, CRM, or project management platforms in an ecommerce environment Background in ecommerce fulfillment or warehouse operations Familiarity with third-party app integrations and automation tools (e.g. Zapier, native platform APIs) Basic understanding of web or app environments — no coding required, but tech fluency matters Interest in or knowledge of automotive — especially vintage cars Why Garagistic Ownership from day one: you'll report directly to the CEO and have genuine authority over how operations run — not just tasks to execute Growth upside: as we scale, this role expands — the right person grows into a larger operational leadership position Small team, direct access to ownership: no layers, no politics, real impact Niche market with staying power: our customers are deeply loyal and our products solve real problems for a passionate community
