Summary/Objective:
This role is responsible for supporting the performance, functionality, and continuous improvement of our ecommerce website. The position is ideal for someone with strong electrical industry knowledge and familiarity with our products and systems who is interested in growing into ecommerce. The role will focus on improving product discoverability, search performance, and overall customer experience.
Position Responsibilities:
Support the daily performance and functionality of the ecommerce website, helping ensure a reliable customer experience. Collaboratewith IT and platform teams toidentify, troubleshoot, and resolve website issues. Assistin improving product data accuracy, including product descriptions, attributes, and categorization. Leverage existing product and industry knowledge to enhance how customers search for and find products online. Participate in reviewing search results andidentifyingopportunities to improve relevance and product discoverability. Collaborate with marketing, sales, pricing, and IT teams to support ecommerce initiatives and customer needs. Analyze website datatoidentifytrends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Support ongoing SEO and content improvements to increase product visibility and traffic. Helpmaintainand organize website content, categories, and product listings. Assistin coordinating with external vendors and partners as needed. Provide support to internal teams and customers usingecommercetools and processes. Commitment to Safety Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies. Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility. Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed. Support all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies for all employees within your branch. Qualifications Strong knowledge of electrical products, categories, and industry terminology. Experience withinternal systems, product data, and processes. Analytical mindset with the ability toidentifypatterns, issues, and opportunities. Strong attention to detail, especially with product data and accuracy. Willingnessto learn ecommerce platforms, tools, and digital best practices. Strong communicationand collaboration skills. Experience with ecommerce platforms or websites. Familiarity with tools such as GA4, Excel, or reporting tools. Basic understanding of SEO or digital merchandising. Experience working with product data, ERP, or PIM systems.
