Job Requirements for
E-commerce, Uber Eats, and Social Media Employee Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual with experience in managing e-commerce platforms, third-party delivery services (e.g., Uber Eats), and social media marketing. The candidate will oversee daily operations, optimize sales strategies, and maintain an engaging online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
E-commerce Management:
Manage product listings, descriptions, and pricing on online platforms. Monitor and optimize website and app performance. Process online orders and coordinate inventory management. Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment and shipping. Analyze sales trends and report on e-commerce performance. Third-Party Delivery Platform Management (e.g., Uber Eats): Upload and manage menus, products, and promotions on delivery platforms. Resolve customer issues and coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely deliveries. Monitor platform analytics and suggest strategies to improve sales.
Social Media Marketing:
Develop and execute social media content strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness. Create and manage posts, stories, and promotions on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media channels promptly. Collaborate with the team to create compelling visuals, videos, and campaigns.
Cross-Functional Tasks:
Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align e-commerce and social media strategies with company goals. Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Suggest and implement promotional campaigns for online sales growth. Track trends and competitor activity to inform strategy. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align campaigns with brand messaging. Create and schedule engaging content including images, videos, and promotional campaigns. Monitor engagement metrics, audience growth, and campaign performance. Manage paid social media advertising campaigns Uber Eats Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize restaurant listings on delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, DoorDash , and Grubhub . Maintain menu accuracy including pricing, product descriptions, modifiers, and availability. Monitor order performance metrics, including preparation time, cancellations, and customer ratings. Implement promotional campaigns and discount strategies to drive sales. Coordinate with kitchen, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Analyze delivery platform sales data and generate performance reports. Optimize listing visibility and ranking within delivery platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce, social media, or third-party delivery platforms. Familiarity with tools like Shopify, WooCommerce, or equivalent platforms. Experience in creating and managing content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of SEO and website optimization. Proficiency in photo/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop). Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-centric approach with problem-solving skills.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and trends. A passion for digital innovation and customer engagement.
Optional Qualifications:
E-Commerce Operations 3-5+ years managing online sales platforms (shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Marketplace). Delivery Marketplace Platforms Operational experience with delivery apps such as: Uber Eats DoorDash Required competencies: Merchant dashboard management Menu/product optimization for delivery platforms Commission structure analysis Promotions and sponsored listings Order volume analytics and customer ratings management Social Media & Digital Marketing Hands-on experience managing business accounts on: Instagram Facebook TikTok YouTube Skills required: Content strategy & posting calendar Paid advertising campaigns Influencer collaboration Social media analytics and performance tracking Customer engagement and online reputation management 2. Technical Skills Candidates should typically demonstrate:
SEO / SEM
fundamentals CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) Digital advertising platforms such as: Google Ads Meta Ads Manager Analytics platforms like: Google Analytics Basic graphic tools such as: Canva Adobe Photoshop 3. Key Performance Metrics Experience HR typically prefers candidates who have managed: Online conversion rate optimization Delivery order growth Customer acquisition cost (CAC) Average order value (AOV) Social media engagement rate ROI on advertising campaigns 4. Education & Certifications Preferred background: Bachelor's in: Marketing Business Administration Digital Commerce Certifications such as: Google Digital Garage Digital Marketing Certificate Meta Social Media Marketing Certification HubSpot Content Marketing Certification Experience with: Product catalog management Pricing optimization Order fulfillment workflows Payment gateway integrations Knowledge of inventory synchronization between stores and warehouses.
