at Creative Circle, LLC in Chicago, Illinois, United States Job Description We're looking for a highly strategic paid media consultant to lead digital acquisition efforts for an established, multi-brand e-commerce business. This person will act as the internal paid media expert, owning strategy, guiding agency partners, and ensuring media investments drive efficient growth.

Location:
Chicago preferred, open to remote This is not a hands-on execution role, but requires someone who is confident operating in platforms, able to validate strategy, and step into accounts when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Paid Media Strategy & Oversight Own paid media strategy across channels (Meta, Google, etc.) Ensure budgets are allocated effectively based on performance and business priorities Translate business goals into clear direction for agency partners Evaluate campaign performance and optimize approach at a strategic level Agency Management Serve as the primary lead for the paid media agency relationship Review and challenge agency recommendations (targeting, spend, creative strategy) Hold agency accountable to KPIs and performance expectations Lead regular check-ins and performance reviews Platform & Campaign Visibility Be comfortable navigating ad platforms to validate execution and performance Step into accounts when needed to audit campaigns or troubleshoot issues Support with asset trafficking as needed (but not full campaign execution) E-Commerce & Site Support Partner on digital strategy that connects paid media to on-site performance Contribute to website content direction and merchandising decisions Help ensure campaigns align with on-site experience and conversion goals
REQUIREMENTS
Strong background in paid media strategy (must-have) Proven experience in e-commerce / DTC environments Experience managing and holding external agencies accountable Ability to think strategically while still understanding platform-level details Confidence to challenge partners and make informed recommendations Experience working at or closely with an agency (preferred) Familiarity with website content, merchandising, or conversion strategy SEO knowledge is a nice-to-have , not required In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
