Cook's Direct is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Amazon / Marketplace Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. This role owns the end-to-end execution of product listings, catalog management, optimization, research, and account health across Amazon and other online marketplaces. The Marketplace Coordinator combines copywriting, SEO, data management, and analytical work to ensure our products are discoverable, accurately represented, and positioned to convert. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Write and refine product titles, bullet points, and descriptions optimized for Amazon and other marketplaces Implement researched keywords across listings to maximize discoverability and conversion Administer and track listing optimizations, documenting changes and monitoring performance Execute optimization strategy, including A/B testing and iterative improvements to drive ranking and sales gains Create and manage UPC/GTIN
assignments and maintain accurate product identifiers across the catalog Build and maintain marketplace product templates (flat files, category templates) for efficient listing uploads Produce accurate, on-brand product copy for new listings and refreshes Provide oversight and quality control for Virtual Assistant (VAA) work supporting listing and catalog tasks Conduct preliminary brand and product research on prospective items prior to launch Analyze product and category performance to identify opportunities and risks Review market saturation and competitor density to inform sourcing and launch decisions Monitor category trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging marketplace opportunities Perform keyword and SEO research to inform listing copy and advertising strategy Monitor and resolve suppressed, stranded, and inactive listings to maintain catalog availability Review seller feedback and product reviews; flag and address issues impacting account health Open, manage, and follow through on Seller Central cases and escalations to resolution Build, schedule, and monitor promotions, coupons, and deals across marketplace platforms Other duties as assigned Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, E-commerce, or a related field — or equivalent experience 1-3+ years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central (or comparable marketplace) experience, including listing creation and optimization Working knowledge of Amazon SEO best practices and listing optimization techniques Experience creating and managing flat files, category templates, and UPC/GTIN
data Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data cleaning on large product datasets Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, benefit-driven product copy Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate findings into actionable next steps High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and recurring deadlines without losing accuracy PREFERRED SKILLS
Hands-on experience with keyword research tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Data Dive Background in distribution, e-commerce, or institutional sales environments Experience overseeing or directing Virtual Assistants or offshore support Experience with Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) Familiarity with A+ Content, Brand Store creation, and Brand Registry tools Eye for design, branding, layout, and visual presentation Experience using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other generative AI tools for content creation, workflow efficiency, marketing, and creative development Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to produce visually engaging materials DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
