Job Description
Our eCommerce team at Staples is dedicated to delivering a world-class digital experience for our customers. We focus on showcasing Staples' value proposition through innovative digital channels, including SEO, paid search, display affiliates, and paid social media. Our collaborative group leverages both technology and human expertise to convert website visitors into loyal customers. As we continue to build and execute a strong pipeline of digital innovations, we work cross-functionally with sales, merchandising, finance, logistics, and technology teams, all while fostering a fun, rewarding, and growth-oriented environment. As a Senior eCommerce Program Manager on Staples' Digital team, you will play a critical role in building and scaling Staples' next-generation B2B marketplace. This is a highly visible role focused on launching and expanding a multi-seller commerce platform—partnering across Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and external sellers to drive growth, adoption, and operational readiness. What you'll be doing: Deliver multiple medium to large, highly complex business programs end-to-end, ensuring accountability for successful outcomes. Organize, track, and communicate project details consistently with stakeholders and team members. Develop, analyze, and manage all aspects of project plans, including scheduling, resource forecasting, and financial management. Define and document requirements across teams, balancing feasibility, cost, and value. Drive work for complex project teams, providing vision, technical input, and clear goals. Ensure business case approval for executive-sponsored programs and lead the program's scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams for RFI/RFP processes with third-party vendors. Track and report on key metrics to senior/executive management and facilitate executive governance. Translate business plans into actionable milestones in partnership with cross-functional teams. Continuously develop your technical and project management capabilities. Apply deep knowledge across digital, marketing, engineering, finance, merchandising, pricing, and supply chain to align diverse stakeholders. What you bring to the table: Ability to handle complex issues and independently resolve challenges, escalating only the most critical items. Comprehensive expertise across e-commerce and digital ecosystems. Strong teamwork, management, and communication skills (both oral and written). Proven relationship-building and collaborative approach. Advanced analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills. What's needed-
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of experience in program and project management. Expert in project life cycle methodologies (i.e. Agile), stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and executive-level communication. Experience managing operational, program, and/or project financial budgets. Demonstrated ability in leading project teams and applying Continuous Improvement methodologies. What's needed-Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of experience in enterprise project planning and coordination, integrating cross-functional solutions. Experience scaling a marketplace or platform-based business, including seller onboarding, assortment growth, or operational scale. Exposure to marketplaces with significant GMV, seller, or catalog growth. Experience supporting B2B eCommerce, multi-vendor commerce, or platform-enabled business models.We Offer:

The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.
