Position Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Nutritional Pharmacy Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in the patient experience by assisting patients with nutritional supplement products and pharmacy-related services. This position combines patient-facing responsibilities with back-office operational duties and requires exceptional customer service skills, a warm and positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a general understanding of and interest in nutrition and supplementation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fulfill and dispense nutritional supplement orders Pleasantly answer inbound phone calls in a helpful, professional, and confidential manner Provide information regarding Born Clinic's Nutritional Pharmacy and appropriately route clinical questions to medical staff or Providers when necessary Accurately process phone orders Communicate effectively and promptly with patients and staff through various channels, including phone, Microsoft Teams, email, and patient portal messaging Accurately enter and update information within the EHR, pharmacy systems, and e-commerce platform, including patient information, charges, and payments Assist with maintaining and updating the e-commerce platform Process patient checkout accurately, including fee tickets, charges, discounts, payments, and cash drawer reconciliation Handle shipping and order fulfillment efficiently across multiple channels Assist with receiving inventory, stocking and rotating products, and performing inventory counts Assist with product ordering and inventory management Maintain a working knowledge of nutritional supplements, including general uses, ingredients, potential side effects, and potential interactions, in order to answer basic patient questions appropriately Assist with additional responsibilities during times of team member absence or increased operational need Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience in healthcare, supplements, integrative medicine, wellness, or customer service preferred Full-time availability Monday through Friday, including participation in the late-night rotation Ability to lift and move boxes up to 30-40 pounds Strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience Compassionate, service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping patients support their health and wellness goals Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Excellent multitasking, organizational, time-management, and communication skills Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and learning new software systems Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining strong attention to detail Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all patient and team interactions Compliance with HIPAA regulations, OSHA requirements, workforce confidentiality standards, and Born Clinic policies and procedures

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour
