Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Live Commerce Manager to lead and grow our live selling channels across eBay Live, TikTok Shop, and other emerging live commerce platforms. This role will be responsible for developing, executing, and scaling our live shopping strategy while building a highly engaged customer community and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate combines e-commerce expertise, live selling experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for creating engaging customer experiences. This individual will serve as the primary owner of our live commerce business and work cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, operations, and executive leadership. Key ResponsibilitiesLive Commerce Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive live commerce growth strategy. Create monthly and quarterly sales plans, revenue goals, and performance metrics. Identify opportunities to expand into new marketplaces and live selling platforms. Monitor industry trends and recommend new initiatives to drive growth. eBay Live & TikTok Shop Management Manage all aspects of eBay Live and TikTok Shop operations. Plan and execute live selling events and promotional campaigns. Optimize product assortment, pricing, and merchandising strategies. Coordinate inventory availability and fulfillment readiness for live events. Maintain platform compliance and best practices. Content & Show Production Develop show concepts, schedules, and run-of-show plans. Recruit, train, and manage live hosts and on-camera talent. Ensure a high-quality customer experience during broadcasts. Coordinate content creation for pre-show promotion and post-show engagement. Customer Growth & Community Building Build and maintain a loyal customer community across platforms. Increase audience engagement, customer retention, and repeat purchases. Develop strategies to grow followers, subscribers, and live event attendance. Gather customer feedback and leverage insights to improve performance. Analytics & Reporting Track key performance indicators including revenue, conversion rates, average order value, audience growth, and customer acquisition. Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to leadership. Analyze show performance and implement continuous improvements. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with merchandising, purchasing, marketing, and operations teams. Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives and resource planning. Help build and scale the company's overall live commerce division. QualificationsRequired 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, marketplace management, or live selling. Experience managing online sales channels and customer engagement programs. Strong understanding of eBay, TikTok Shop, Shopify, or similar commerce platforms. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical abilities. Self-starter capable of working independently and driving results. Preferred Experience with eBay Live, TikTok Shop, Whatnot, Amazon Live, or similar live commerce platforms. Experience in collectibles, trading cards, sports memorabilia, luxury goods, or auction-based selling. Experience managing livestream production and on-camera talent. Knowledge of digital marketing, social media growth, and customer acquisition. Success Metrics Revenue growth from live commerce channels. Audience and follower growth.
