TITLE:
Foundation Office Assistant STATUS:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The DCB Foundation office is seeking an office assistant to work approximately 30 hours per week. This position has flexible hours Monday to Friday.
Tasks could include:
Some accounting tasks, bank transactions, reporting, processing mail, donations, and correspondence daily. Manages the database of donors, alumni, and fundraising. Answers calls/emails and greets visitors to the Foundation office. Assists with volunteer recruitment, relationship building, and promotion of the Foundation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be proficient in Excel and Word, and can learn online platforms, such as website updates, social media Ability to build and maintain working relationships with volunteers, donors, and board members.
SALARY RANGE
- Competitive wage depending on experience with a comprehensive fringe benefit package including retirement plan and full coverage for family health insurance. DCB does require a successful background check for the selected candidate before beginning employment
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
High School diploma or GED, along with 3-5 years of equivalent work experience. Experience in administrative duties, positively engaging with customers, working with a board or committees.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
 Microsoft Office Suite, understanding of accounting principles, and ability to learn online software.
