This role is ideal for a hybrid marketer; someone who combines strong email marketing skills with a deep understanding of growth strategy within fashion or e-commerce. You will play a key role in shaping the customer journey, driving retention, and maximizing revenue through strategic email campaigns. As part of a fast-growing startup, you will be responsible for planning and executing email campaigns, building automated flows, optimizing customer segmentation, and enhancing overall lifecycle marketing. You will also collaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to ensure all communications reflect the Lucent brand identity and elevate the customer experience. We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and innovative individual who is passionate about luxury fashion and excited to push creative boundaries in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute weekly email campaigns (promotions, product launches, newsletters) Build and optimize automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback) Segment email lists to improve targeting and personalization Analyze campaign performance (open rate, CTR, conversion, revenue) and optimize accordingly A/B test subject lines, creative, and send times Collaborate with designers on email layouts and visuals Ensure emails are mobile-optimized and on-brand Maintain email list health and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR if applicable)

Requirements:

2+ years of email marketing experience, preferably in e-commerce or fashion Experience with platforms like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar Strong understanding of email flows, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing Basic understanding of

HTML/CSS

for email (a plus) Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools Strong copywriting skills with an eye for brand voice and tone Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms (preferred) Ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in fashion, apparel, or DTC brands Familiarity with SMS marketing tools (e.g., Attentive, Postscript) Knowledge of customer retention strategies and LTV optimization Graphic design skills (Figma, Canva, Adobe)
