We are a small e-commerce company looking for someone to manage day to day customer support and order fulfillment. Our sales channels include 3 websites, Amazon and Ebay. The typical number of orders per day is around 20. We sell mechanical parts for business automation machines. Most of our customers are small businesses, non-profit organizations and government organizations that rely on us for spare parts to keep their mailing equipment and other related equipment operating.

Manage:

Order fulfillment/ shipping Customer service and returns and refunds etc. Inventory stocking and tracking and organizing inventory Helping customers over the phone; be a good communicator on the phone. Entering phone orders when customers want to call an order in. Amazon and Ebay seller accounts Write/ document procedures for multi-step tasks Ordering shipping supplies

Be:

Detail oriented / attention to detail. Organized. Planning ahead. Self motivated and comfortable working alone sometimes (until more staff are hired). Interested in learning about the machines and various products that the business sells Able to your own research to find solutions to software problems if they arise.

We use the following software:

shipping software, Shipstation, helpdesk software, invoicing software, website chat, multichannel inventory software, Google workspace, Google ads, Wordpress, Woocommerce, Fusion 360, Hubspot. Experience with these software tools is helpful but not required since they are not the main part of the job. Comfortable talking on the phone to customers and vendors. Consistent with your working schedule. Good at managing an inbox full of emails without things "falling through the cracks." Good at making a list and following through. Familiar with and have basic understanding of mechanical parts and tools. Able to lift boxes or inventory up to 40 lbs. This is a small business operating from a warehouse with sales fully online or over the phone. We can be flexible with time off and working schedule.
