Position Overview We are seeking an Account Manager to join our growing Promo & Apparel team. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, managing projects from concept through delivery, and helping customers find the right solutions for their branding and marketing needs. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys creating a great customer experience. Promotional products and apparel industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who brings strong communication, project management, and relationship-building skills. This position also offers future growth opportunities for someone interested in developing into a leadership or Assistant Manager role as our department continues to expand. Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and build long-term client relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers through email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Guide customers through projects from initial request through final delivery.
- Oversee promo and apparel projects, including timelines, artwork, approvals, purchasing, and production coordination.
- Work with multiple vendors to source promotional products and apparel that meet customer goals and budgets.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and communicate product availability, pricing, lead times, and project updates.
- Prepare quotes, enter orders, and ensure accurate project information is communicated internally.
- Collaborate with design, purchasing, production, and fulfillment teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Use Microsoft Office 365 and company software systems to manage workflow, customer communications, and project details.
- Proactively solve problems, anticipate customer needs, and keep projects moving forward.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional products or services that add value for existing customers.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds trust and long-term partnerships. Qualifications
- Experience in the promotional products, apparel, print, marketing, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Open to coaching, feedback, and continuous learning.
- Experience with CRM, order management, or industry software is a plus.
