Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior team members to develop insights that inform business priorities for Versant departments including ad sales, distribution, and portfolio strategy Support the execution of qualitative and quantitative research projects, including survey design and programming, managing fieldwork, building and analyzing crosstabs, interpreting results, and contributing to reports and presentations that summarize key insights Help synthesize insights from multiple sources (e.g., primary research, syndicated data, internal data) to build a holistic view of audience behavior and market trends Assist in developing presentations and materials that translate findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., ad sales, corporate strategy, distribution) to understand business needs and support research initiatives Monitor audience trends, consumer behaviors, and market dynamics Manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in market research, analytics, or related fields (internships included) Basic understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in connecting data to insights Interest in media, entertainment, sports, or evolving consumer behavior Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Exceptional organizational skills Collaborative, team mindset and willingness to learn Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, etc.)Preferred:
Familiarity with syndicated tools (e.g., comScore, MRI Simmons) Experience with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher) Experience using advanced analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Looker a plus Advanced statistical training (e.g., regression, clustering, perceptual mapping, driver analysis) a plusAdditional Information:
Hybrid:
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on business need.
