Junior Business Developer - Job Description Role Overview A Junior Business Developer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting sales growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, and collaboration with internal teams to drive revenue and expand the company s customer base. Key Responsibilities Identify and generate new business opportunities through research and networking Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and business pitches Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs Support the sales team in achieving targets and revenue goals Follow up on leads, inquiries, and client communications Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer data Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align business strategies Negotiate basic terms and assist in closing deals Track and report sales performance and business development activities Required Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of sales and business development processes Ability to conduct market research and analysis Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Good negotiation and persuasion skills Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Problem-solving and analytical thinking Preferred Skills Experience in lead generation and client handling Familiarity with digital marketing concepts Basic understanding of B2B and B2C sales models Knowledge of data analysis for sales insights Exposure to email campaigns and outreach tools Understanding of customer relationship management strategies
