Senior Manager, US Oncology Insights & Analytics
LOCATION
Gaithersburg, MD (A hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.)
HOURS:
Full-Time; Mon-Fri (40 hours/week)
DUTIES:
Generate actionable insights that shape brand strategy and tactics for the US organization. Leverage primary research and secondary data across customer segments, including healthcare professionals and consumers. Guide brand teams in making decisions. Inform brand performance, developing promotional tactics and overall brand strategy. Identify key business needs and build market research/analysis plans. Assess priorities on market research/insight plans and execute projects. Develop and maintain project budget and manage projects and vendor relationships. Inform forecasting assumptions and recommend actions to brand leadership. Build reports and presentations highlighting actionable insights including business implications and options. Compile, analyze, and visualize findings from secondary marketing and/or sales data. Lead insights metrics/KPI tracking for the brand, acting as the voice of HCPs and consumers for the brand, and commercial competitive intelligence gathering. Create integrated insights picture for the brand.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience with a pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturer or consulting in the biopharmaceutical industry in the position offered, as an Associate, Senior Associate, Management Consultant, Market Research/Data Analyst, or a related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience with a pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturer or consulting in the biopharmaceutical industry in the position offered, as an Associate, Senior Associate, Management Consultant, Market Research/Data Analyst, or a related position. Must have four (4) years (or two [2] years with a Master's) of experience with all of the following: Developing actionable insights for the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry primarily focused on the US market and communicating key findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders; Leading primary market research studies, applying varied qualitative and quantitative primary research techniques with healthcare providers; Synthesizing insights from primary market research with secondary data analytics (including electronic medical records, claims, and specialty pharmacy data) to identify brand performance, treatment landscape dynamics, and growth opportunities; Assessing and reporting on commercial performance by analyzing treatment journey drivers, including prescribers, other HCPs, patients, payers, competitors, and marketing/promotional effort; and Leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders to influence outcomes. The annual base salary (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $177,735.00 to $221,862.00. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles).
