Posting Text Dakota State University is seeking a Slate CRM & Technology Specialist to serve as the university's primary Slate Lead for admissions operations. This position supports undergraduate, graduate, and international admissions by managing Slate CRM processes, supporting users, improving workflows, developing reports, and helping admissions teams make effective use of technology. This role works closely with admissions staff, ITS, and external Slate partners to support recruitment, application management,munications, reporting, and enrollment operations. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, self-learner, strongmunicator, and trusted resource who can translate technical concepts into practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Slate CRM across admissions units.
Configure and maintain Slate functionality, including forms, portals,munications, workflows, reporting, and application processes.
Provide user support, troubleshooting, training, and documentation.
Develop reports, dashboards, and data solutions that support admissions operations and decision-making.
Collaborate with admissions leadership, ITS, and external partners on system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
Lead testing and implementation of new Slate features, updates, and admissions-cycle changes.
Supportmunication plans and applicant-facing experiences within Slate.
Monitor industry trends and rmend improvements that enhance recruitment and enrollment operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalentbination of education and experience.
Strong problem-solving,anizational, andmunication skills.
Ability to learnplex systems and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM platforms, especially Slate.
Higher education, admissions, enrollment management, or student services experience.
Experience with reporting, data analysis, or business process improvement.
Familiarity with SQL, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
