Houston, TX Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $72,000 a year 7 hours ago Qualifications Salesforce Cloud Agile software development CRM system proficiency Training & development Software training Full Job Description The Salesforce/CRM Administrator is responsible for the design, configuration, and ongoing development of the organization's CRM platform within an Agile Scrum environment. This role collaborates closely with Product Owners, Development Team members, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that support business processes and organizational goals. The Administrator contributes to the successful delivery of development cycles by building and enhancing system functionality, supporting data integrity, and developing training and documentation to ensure effective user adoption.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works collaboratively within a Scrum team to design, configure, and deliver CRM solutions that meet development cycle goals. This includes building and maintaining custom objects, fields, flows, and automation, as well as supporting integrations, data processes, and system enhancements across the broader technology environment. The role also develops supporting materials such as documentation and training content and partners with team members to deliver functional increments of value each cycle. Continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and the application of new platform capabilities are essential to improving team capacity and solution effectiveness Partners with Product Owners and business stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective engagement with the Development Team and alignment on development processes. This includes refining user stories, defining acceptance criteria, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions, and supporting backlog development and prioritization to establish an effective workflow. Provides guidance on how to interact with the Development Team through Product Owners and coordinates with vendors and contractors as needed to achieve development cycle goals. Contributes to the ongoing improvement of team performance by participating in Scrum ceremonies, supporting continuous improvement efforts, identifying and implementing best practices for development and delivery, and enhancing team efficiency, quality, and predictability of outcomes. Supports broader data and system initiatives, including data quality and governance efforts, as well as system optimization and enhancements, while collaborating with Innovation and Data Management team members to define and support long-term project roadmap planning. Performs other duties assigned to support departmental and organizational priorities.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in information technology, software development or a related field from an accredited institution. Applicable certifications and/or commensurate work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree at management's discretion.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years' experience working with the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, flows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity. Demonstrated understanding of Scrum framework. Experience managing relational databases and using ETL tools. Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes.
Continuous learning oriented:
desire to study new technologies and functionality, and be part of a team that pushes existing technologies' capabilities. Proficiency in using analytical tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or Snowflake preferred. Experience in programming languages such as API, JSON, or HTML, a plus. Ability to provide training for end users. Willingness to teach and learn skills required to achieve team goals. Attention to detail for tracking, recording, and planning team progress. Experience in handling confidential information.
CERTIFICATIONS
Salesforce Advanced Admin Certification preferred.
