As an Event Assistant, you'll help coordinate event activities, engage directly with attendees, and support initiatives that increase brand awareness for nonprofit partners making a difference in local communities. This Event Assistant opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in event marketing, communications, public engagement, and brand development. From setup to execution, every Event Assistant helps ensure each event creates a positive experience while strengthening the nonprofit's brand presence throughout the community. Responsibilities of the Event Assistant Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown for community outreach initiatives Engage directly with attendees and share information about nonprofit programs and community initiatives Support event logistics, materials, schedules, and attendee engagement activities Represent nonprofit partners professionally while helping strengthen overall brand awareness Assist with promotional activities designed to increase brand visibility and event participation Support outreach efforts that help expand each nonprofit partner's brand presence throughout the Birmingham market Collaborate with fellow Event Assistant team members to ensure events align with brand standards and campaign goals Track attendee engagement and event activity to support future brand development efforts Qualifications for the Event Assistant High school diploma or GED preferred Interest in events, communications, marketing, public relations, or brand awareness Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable interacting with attendees in face-to-face environments Organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities Positive attitude and professional demeanor Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, retail, outreach, or promotional roles is helpful but not required Successful events create stronger community connections and stronger brand recognition. As an Event Assistant, you'll help bring nonprofit campaigns to life while developing valuable experience in event marketing, public engagement, and brand representation.
Pay:
$600.00 - $900.00 per week
