Job Description

Detailed Position Information The Department of Marketing invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of instructor for the academic year beginning August 16, 2026. Primary duties include teaching marketing at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Primary teaching needs are in the areas of digital and social media marketing with secondary needs including marketing analytics, marketing research, sales, and other areas. Responsibilities will focus mostly on teaching courses face-to-face. There may also be responsibilities for hybrid or online delivery modes. In addition, regularly meeting with students throughout the week related to coursework and student responsibilities is expected. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed and as appropriate to further advance the program and its curriculum. Service to the Department, College, and UA is also expected. While engaging in publishable research activities is not required, for those applicants interested in doing so the department will provide support as available. This could take the form of financial assistance and/or access to the Department's Behavioral Lab. Minimum Qualifications A master's degree in business or related field from an accredited institution is required, but some preference will be given to those with a PhD/DBA in Marketing or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching marketing at the college level is preferred. Industry experience in marketing is also desirable.
