JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales and Marketing Associate is responsible for communicating with customers; scheduling meetings; collecting customer information; entering data required for sales quotes, deliveries and invoices, and promptly responding to customer inquiries, among other project-based work. May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff. The Sales and Marketing Associate reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be experienced in a wide range of administrative and sales-related tasks and will work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of a sales role with administrative tasks. The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.- Must possess a 2-year Associate's (4-year Bachelor's degree preferred) from a nationally accredited US institution
- Assist in identifying, developing, and managing relationships with new customers, as well as nurturing relationships with current customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to speak with potential and existing customers via phone, email, trade shows, or other events
- Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
- Willingness to learn and be adaptable to varying situations and requirements
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be exceedingly well-organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Experience Demonstrated experience working with minimal supervision or direction.
