ABOUT THE
ROLEWere United Sports Brands, one of the fastest-growing sporting goods companies in the country. Were looking for a Field Marketing & Community Content Manager to bring Nathan, PEARL iZUMi and EQYP to life across the running, cycling, and fitness/strength/recovery landscapesfrom major national races to grassroots local communities to account activations. This role blends field marketing, content creation, and community building, but with an important evolution: You wont just execute eventsyou will orchestrate a scalable field marketing ecosystem.

The face of the brands at key events The architect behind a broader network of activations executed by partners A content creator capturing realathlete (runner, cyclist, fitness)stories across environments
SUMMARY OF
POSITIONThe Field Marketing & Community Content Manager will lead the planning, execution, and scaling of the Endurance Brands event presence across a diverse event landscape.

This includes:

Personally, coordinating and executing priority, high-impact events Coordinating and enabling retailers, ambassadors, and partners to execute events locally Creating authentic, in-the-field content that amplifies every activation The goal: maximize brand presence without relying solely on physical presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Marketing Strategy & ExecutionPlan and execute a national field marketing calendar across: Major marquee races (e.g., large city marathons, cycling races) Trail running, Ragnar, LifeTimeGrand Prix eventsLocal grassroots and community runs, rides, and fitness eventsKey account Brand and Product Training immersions Personally attend and lead execution for priority events where brand presence matters most Develop scalable activation playbooks that can be executed by: Retail partners Brand ambassadors Local clubs across cycling, running, and fitnessEnsure consistent, premium brand execution across all eventswhether attended in person or managed remotely Distributed Event CoordinationCoordinate and manage remote activations by: Equipping partners with tools, kits, and guidelines Communicating clear expectations and activation standards Supporting execution from afar (pre, during, and post event) Build a repeatable system for scaling presence across dozens of events simultaneously Partner closely with specialty retailers and key accounts to integrate Endurance Brands into their local event ecosystems Content Creation & StorytellingCapture authentic, social-first content from events and community interactions: Race-day moments Athletestories and testimonials Product-in-use content across environments (road, trail, gravel, training, recovery) Act as a field-based content creator, producing: Short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) Real-time and post-event storytelling Extend the impact of both: Events attended in person Events executed remotely (through partner-generated content and coordination) Collaborate with internal teams to turn field content into ongoing brand narratives and series Community & Relationship BuildingBuild and maintain strong relationships across: Run, bike & fitness clubs (road, gravel, trail) Influencers and creators Athletes and ambassadors Retail partners Focus on two layers of community presence: National reach: major events and influential communities Local depth: especially within Southern California and Boulder near the Endurance Sportshome basesIdentify and develop authentic brand advocates within key running communities Brand and Product TrainingDevelop and scale Brand & Product knowledge materials from a consumer-first perspective that can be executedIn-person and small-scale eventsAt a distance, by representatives of the brands or third partiesBe the expert in Brand and Product KnowledgeBring your knowledge and enthusiasm for the Brands and Products to all events, fielding consumer questions and engaging as the representative of the Brand.

Program Management & InsightsTrack and evaluate: Event effectiveness (both in-person and remote) Content performance and engagement Community growth and brand visibility Manage field marketing budget and optimize allocation between: Travel-based activations Distributed/local activations Continuously refine the model to increase scale, efficiency, and impact

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS24
years of experience in: Field marketing, experiential marketing, or community marketing Content creation (social-first preferred) Strong passion for running culture across road and trail Experience managing or coordinating distributed programs or partners is a strong plus
Comfortable:
Leading activations in person Managing execution remotely through others Skilled in: Social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) Basic content capture and editing tools Strong communication, organization, and project management skills Ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic coordination
POSITION
SPECIFICSFull-time role 3040% travelrequired(focused on priority events) Flexible work schedule, including weekends based on event calendar Must have a valid drivers license
PAY TRANSPARENCY
The Company is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The salary range for this role inCosta Mesa, CA is $70,000 $80,000In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including health & wellness benefits, retirement, time off, employee discounts, and others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Candidate must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with ability to: stand for 8-12 hours per day at least 3 days in a row while attending events; be in a stationary position 50% of the time; occasionally move about inside the office to access fine cabinets, office machinery (such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, etc.); constantly operate a computer; occasionally ascend/descend stairs; constantly position self to maintain files in file cabinets; the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations; the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feed of the observer); and frequently move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across office for various needs. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions if projects/opportunities arise. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
