Your Role:

MatterHackers is seeking a dynamic and innovative Creative Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is a DIY enthusiast and skilled at social media content creation.

You will be responsible for creating engaging content that showcases MatterHackers products, including 3D printers, CNC machines, laser engravers, various materials, and more. You'll be promoting these products through your own social media channels, building a vibrant community of makers and DIY enthusiasts. We want you to be your authentic, creative self, fueled by MatterHackers' access to top technology and resources.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a creative engineer Proficiency with 3D printing, CNC machining, laser engraving, and other DIY or crafting technologies Strong presence and following on social media platforms, or working to build one Excellent content creation skills, including photography, videography, and editing Ability to engage and grow a community of followers Passion for making and sharing creative projects Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Located in Orange County, CA - this role is based in our headquarters in Lake Forest, CA so you can have access to our

Lab/Workshop Responsibilities:

Act as a creative engineer by actively engaging with customers and showcasing products through effective communication and live demonstrations. Develop and manage compelling content for social media platforms to boost brand visibility and engagement. Support event marketing initiatives by planning and executing promotional activities that highlight our products and brand. Gather and analyze customer feedback to refine and inform marketing strategies and improve customer experience. Leverage photography and videography skills to create visually engaging content that aligns with our branding objectives. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and cohesive branding across all communication channels. Take ownership of your role and drive your success by proactively exploring creative opportunities and solutions that benefit both you and the team.
