com Full Job Description www.visitcalifornia.com www.industry.visitcalifornia.com Visit California is currently seeking to hire a student assistant to assist the Content Team in the management of domestic and international editorial and social media content, including metrics tracking, website maintenance, data analysis and publications fulfillment. While the student assistant will report directly to the Content Coordinator. The student assistant will support the efforts of the Consumer Content team. There may also be additional projects and data entry opportunities where it may be necessary to increase hours based on these specific and timely projects. Conditions of Employment This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student position. Employment in all positions with University Enterprises, Inc. is dependent upon the mutual consent of University Enterprises, Inc. and the employee. This means that either University Enterprises, Inc. or the employee can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause. Depending on the type of position you are applying for, a pre-employment background check consisting of one or more of the following may be conducted: employment history, professional references, criminal check: educational verification (degree, license, or official transcript) or DMV clearance. 00 per hour. Minimum Qualifications Must complete each term with minimum unit requirements for Undergraduate and Graduate student classifications. Proof will be collected at the end of each Spring and Fall term. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and work well with others in a professional office environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products, in particular, Excel, Google Sheets and Google Docs. Advanced knowledge a plus. Experience with Workflow Management and asset management systems, in particular Monday.com and Bynder. Experience working with Data and Content Management systems (ex: Drupal, Salesforce). Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Individuals who are, or have been, a dependent child in foster care, a homeless youth or a formerly incarcerated youth as defined by Government Code section 18220 are encouraged to apply and will be given priority. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in cataloging/tracking new and/or updated editorial content for Visit California's consumer-facing channels, including website, publications and e-newsletter. Assist with metrics reports for content pulls/speeches. Website maintenance, including maintaining/revising website links, tagging content, editing copy. Assist in reviewing Visit California printed publications orders. Assist in cataloging and/or tracking social media analytics and content. Assist with uploading photo and video assets to Digital Asset Management System (Bynder). Compile notes and track action items at designated meetings. Troubleshoot platform issues with social vendors such as sprout and crowd riff. Assist with ad hoc marketing requests. Physical Requirements Sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication; use of office equipment including computer workstations, telephones, calculators, copiers, printers, and scanners with or without reasonable accommodation.
