El Segundo, CA Schedule:
Full-Time, hybrid, Tuesday in the office

Overview:
A fast-paced CPG company is seeking a Marketing Purchasing Associate to serve as the operational backbone between their Marketing, E-commerce, and Sales teams and the Finance department. This role is responsible for managing a high volume of service purchase orders, tracking invoices end-to-end, and establishing internal workflows to keep everything moving. This is not a passive role. The right person is proactive, persistent, and thrives in environments where follow-up and self-sufficiency are required daily. Key Responsibilities Create, submit, and track service purchase requisitions in Microsoft Dynamics ERP on behalf of marketing and commercial teams Manage a high volume of invoices weekly across PR, brand, and marketing functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate coding Liaise between internal stakeholders, the Finance and Accounts Payable teams, and external vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues Monitor open POs and follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and invoices Ensure approval routing is correct and escalate or follow up with approvers as needed Support vendor onboarding, including setup forms and compliance with internal policies Build and maintain internal tracking systems using Excel to manage workstreams independently Process goods receipts for services rendered before the month-end cutoff Troubleshoot PO, invoice, and payment issues, including misrouted invoices and mismatched data Establish a structured workstream between the role and the Finance department Requirements 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or finance support Knowledge or Marketing Operations Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP/PO tracking system Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes and competing deadlines Exceptional follow-up and communication skills across departments Associate or bachelor's degree preferred Experience coming from a similar CPG industry is preferred
