Job Description

Reports To:
The Design and Field Marketing Associate will report to Director of Marketing and Director of Sales.

An innovative and inclusive cannabis cultivator, solventless extractor, and medical/recreational dispensary.
Position Summary:
The Design and Field Marketing Associate plays a key role in shaping and strengthening the overall visual identity of the brand. This hybrid role collaborates closely with marketing, sales, and field teams to develop compelling, on-brand design assets and creative strategies that support marketing campaigns, product storytelling, and brand consistency across all channels. Responsibilities include contributing to promotional campaigns, producing digital and print content, and supporting in-store and experiential brand activations. This position requires a creative eye, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to bring the brand to life in thoughtful and impactful ways. A background or interest in the cannabis industry is a plus, but not required.
What You Will Be Doing:
Creative Development & Brand Design Execute visually compelling, on-brand digital and print assets in alignment with marketing briefs and campaign calendars. Help with content creation, including photography, post-production editing, and scheduling for social media and e-commerce platforms. Assisting the Social Media Associate to schedule and prepare copy and content for social posts based on brand strategy and current promotions Conceptualize deliverables based on requests, then prepare / present rough drafts Brand Presence & Merchandising Maintain and elevate brand presence across wholesale and retail accounts through strategic merchandising, signage, and promotional material execution. Use flagship store as a testing ground for innovative displays and engagement strategies, then adapt successful initiatives across partner locations. Ensure all brand visuals meet company's identity standards and stay consistent across digital and physical touchpoints. Assist in the creation and development of ongoing training modules and campaigns to educate budtenders and retail staff on products, processes, and consumer benefits—supporting confident brand representation and increased sales. Provide feedback to internal teams on training needs and opportunities for brand improvement. Build and nurture collaborative relationships with store managers, budtenders, and key retail partners to enhance brand presence through strategic product placement and merchandising aligned with the companies brand vision. Community Engagement & Outreach Design and execute dynamic event activations to attract new and existing customers. Support the growth of our brand at community events by helping ideate and create engaging activations that build connections and foster brand loyalty. Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them as necessary to facilitate their success Operational Excellence Keep marketing files, databases, and inventories organized and up-to-date. Ensure compliance with all retail and wholesale procedures and company policies. Survey stores for merchandising, POS materials, promotional opportunities, and new product placements. Qualifications Proven leadership and relationship-building skills Experience in merchandising, retail sales, and/or brand activation Strong communication, coaching, and training abilities Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable plans Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed Passion for cannabis education
What You Bring:
Two years of experience in marketing, communications, public affairs, or event planning. Two years within the cannabis industry in any position Proven leadership and relationship-building skills Experience in merchandising, retail sales, and/or brand activation Strong communication, coaching, and training abilities Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable plans Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed Passion for cannabis education Up-to-date MED badge Understanding of the MED rules and regulations Must have reliable transportation We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
