JOB DESCRIPTION
Social Media Strategy:
Manage our social media sites, including graphic design, the content calendar, publishing, and monitoring analytics to ensure effectiveness towards IPPD outreach.
Content Creation:
Develop content for a variety of communications needs including writing, editing, and design work to create special publications such as: brochures, invitations, flyers, emails, and marketing collateral. Web Design (WordPress): managing our website, writing and editing content, and helping students with the Blog sites.
Graphis Design:
Create and edit media content for program marketing that upholds a cohesive visual identity in accordance with existing brand standards and guidelines for the UF IPPD program.
Digital Advertising:
Assist with day-to-day communications, with emphasis on visual storytelling and design. Assist the IPPD Administrative Assistant with event planning, logistics, branding and promotion. Other administrative duties as assigned
EXPECTED SALARY
$15 per hour
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
This job requires an efficient worker with excellent writing and editing skills who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment. Candidate must be a versatile team player who is organized, dependable, and a self-starter. Candidates currently pursuing degrees in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, media production, journalism, or related are encouraged to apply.
Desired skills:
Proficiency with social media management and analytics, including LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign) Proficiency with Canva Pro Experience with WordPress Experience with Mailchimp and similar platforms for marketing campaigns Experience in outbound marketing targeted at university students Strong English writing skills for print and online communications Excellent interpersonal skills and experience with interviewing people
PREFERRED
Experience with trend analysis and web-based data analytics to make data-driven campaign decisions Knowledge of SEO and
