Using a multi-disciplined approach, this position coordinates and disseminates marketing and promotional efforts for assigned sports.
Direct Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, and Baseball videoboard shows
Assist the Assistant AD with shows across other sports as needed
Assist the Fan Experience team and the Field Manager for Football games with sponsorship activations and on-field participants
Upload content to Display Studio and the TriCaster across all sports
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including sponsors and marketing teams to appropriately integrate in-stadium content
Build buttons and put together the order of the show across sports
Work with the Fan Experience team to enhance all the videoboard shows through videos, graphics, on field promotions, skits, etc.
Assists the Assistant AD of Marketing in supervision of marketing interns and staff, including the Spirit Coordinator.
Assists the Assistant AD of Marketing with new strategies to engage fans at all FIU games and events. Acts as a liaison between community groups, university departments, alumni, and other organizations to aid FIU Athletics marketing and sales efforts.
Partners with all FIU affiliated groups including booster clubs, alumni clubs, student groups, and other University contacts to drive awareness and support for all sports
Serves as a University card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University credit card policies and procedures.
Adheres to all State of Florida, University, NCAA, Conference USA, and department rules and policies pertaining to the position. Report any known NCAA violations or concerns to the Director of Athletic Compliance and be responsible for the monitoring of any subordinate as it relates to NCAA regulations.
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience; OR a Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; OR six (6) years of appropriate experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
