Student Marketing Assistant - Marketing Strategy Team - Marketing and Communications Bowling Green State University, United States about 12 hours ago
Location:
Campus, ILLINOIS Summary To support staff members in the Office of Marketing and Communications by developing and editing marketing materials, navigating projects in a digital project management system and interfacing with campus partners. This position will work in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary marketing strategy team that operates like an in-house marketing agency. This position will work under the direction of the assistant director of Marketing Strategy and a team of versatile marketing strategists.
Career Readiness Competencies:
Career & Self-Development Communication Technology Essential Functions Assist in the creation of marketing materials for BGSU programs, events and initiatives, including newsletters, flyers, brochures, webpages, emails, digital graphics, etc. Occasional copywriting and proofreading in AP Style (training provided) Interface directly with campus partners to execute marketing project requests from beginning to end. Manage and track projects in a digital project management system. Route projects for review and approvals. Assist with strategic marketing strategy implementation and maintenance. Ensure marketing projects are completed on time. Assist and support additional integrated communication and marketing efforts as needed. Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations, communications or similar field. Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills. Ability to track and keep many projects moving at one time. Thrives in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Proficient in English grammar and style. This open position will be working with the marketing strategists prioritizing internal communications.
