We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Director and contribute to the firm's marketing, business development, events, communications, and administrative initiatives. Position Summary The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the firm's marketing efforts through project coordination, event support, database management, communications, sponsorship administration, and research. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Business Development Support Assist with media outreach and content pitching to publications and industry organizations. Research marketing opportunities, industry trends, publications, and business development initiatives. Support attorney onboarding. Event & Sponsorship Coordination Assist with planning and execution of firm-hosted and sponsored events. Manage guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, and event logistics. Prepare event materials, agendas, name badges, and collateral. Coordinate sponsorship submissions and maintain sponsorship tracking records. Support event setup, execution, and post-event follow-up activities. Database & Administrative Management Maintain and segment contact databases. Update mailing lists and remove duplicate or outdated records. Organize marketing files, records, and shared folders. Maintain accurate tracking logs and project documentation. Presentation & Communication Support Format and proofread presentations according to firm branding standards. Draft professional correspondence and outreach emails. Coordinate communication with vendors and collect project proposals and estimates. Continuing Education & Compliance Support Process continuing education credit submissions following webinars and educational programs. Maintain organized records and track submission confirmations. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of administrative, marketing, event coordination, or related experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Experience with CRM or contact management databases. Experience coordinating events and sponsorships. Experience in professional services, legal, or corporate environments.
