They start with conversations. GMI Business Group is hiring a Sales and Marketing Assistant to support Verizon FiOS campaigns throughout the Braintree area. As a Sales and Marketing Assistant, you'll work directly with homeowners to help create awareness of Verizon's internet products and services while supporting the sales and marketing efforts that drive campaign growth. This is a customer-facing opportunity where you'll gain experience in communications, brand awareness, sales strategy, and promotional marketing. As a Sales and Marketing Assistant, you'll become an important part of the team responsible for bringing Verizon's services directly to local communities. Every Sales and Marketing Assistant helps execute promotions that introduce homeowners to technology that keeps them connected for work, school, entertainment, gaming, and everyday life. Responsibilities of the Sales and Marketing Assistant Support customer-facing sales and marketing campaigns that promote Verizon FiOS products and services Participate in promotions designed to increase brand awareness throughout the Braintree area Engage directly with homeowners to discuss available internet and connectivity solutions Assist with planning and executing local promotions that strengthen campaign visibility Support promotional outreach efforts that generate customer interest and campaign engagement Help coordinate marketing materials and promotions used throughout active campaigns Track customer interactions, campaign activity, and promotional performance Collaborate with fellow Sales and Marketing Assistant team members to support campaign goals and ongoing promotions Qualifications of the Sales and Marketing Assistant High school diploma or equivalent preferred Interest in sales, marketing, communications, brand awareness, or promotions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable interacting with people in face-to-face environments Positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to learn marketing concepts, promotional strategies, and customer engagement techniques Strong organizational and time-management skills Reliable transportation to and from our Braintree office location Success as a Sales and Marketing Assistant comes from building relationships, creating memorable customer experiences, and helping promotions reach the right audience.
