Marketing Manager Purpose:
Research marketing needs and analyze marketing trends to ensure the credit union is positioned competitively. Responsible for assisting the marketing department in all campaigns and promotions. Provide assistance to department manager and perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provide administrative assistance to the Marketing Manager and Marketing Department staff, utilizing a range of computer software applications to include Windows, Microsoft 365, and other marketing software. 2. Assist in the development and execution of the annual marketing plan and budget planning. 3. Envision creative marketing and public relations concepts. Help coordinate marketing and public relations programs for the credit union. Track and evaluate results of programs. 4. Assist with development, implementation, and analysis of marketing promotions. Utilize a variety of computer applications in the design and implementation of marketing materials. 5. Create and/or review letters, direct mail, press releases, collateral materials, forms etc. 6. Coordinate with our outside advertising or vendors (i.e. Trulync, Trustage, MNCUN) for design, content, or delivery of marketing materials, marketing promotions, or media campaigns. 7. Ensure that all marketing and public relations materials comply with State and Federal rules and regulations for the credit union. Stay well-informed in changing rules and regulations. 8. Coordinate the production and distribution of member announcements of product promotions, product updates, or new products and services through newsletters and special mailings. 9. Manage constant contact and other vendors to ensure accurate emails for marketing and communication are in their systems. 10. Coordinate and implement member surveys regarding credit union products and services, potential products and services, quality of service, and other feedback to help the credit union meet member needs. 11. Interact and communicate with all those impacted by promotions, new products, advertising campaigns, collateral material, etc., so that employees are up to date on credit union marketing programs. 12. Place orders and monitor quality of printed materials and deliveries. 13. Manage the marketing content on all digital boards and lobby TVs. 14. Edit marketing collateral and other marketing materials. Proof work of others for accuracy and completeness. 15. Maintain records of all printed materials and master copies. Ensure that all documentation is up to date and files are complete. 16. Take photos during credit union events. Maintain photo and slide show for the credit union. 17. Coordinate or be the mascot for company events. 18. Plan, coordinate and oversee community involvement and credit union events. Events include but are not limited to parades, tradeshows, Habitat for Humanity, AEOA, United Way, NSCU staff and member events, and chapter events. 19. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
  • A two-year college degree or completion of specialized course of study, or higher or 2+ years' experience in a marketing role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of credit union products.
  • Ability to perform presentations to professionals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint along with other various software's.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
