Job Summary We are on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager & Community Marketing Coordinator to join our vibrant team. This dual-role position combines hands-on restaurant management with creative community engagement, ensuring smooth daily operations while building strong local connections. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, hospitality, and community outreach, with a knack for leadership and marketing. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing shift schedules, and ensuring excellent customer service. Assist in food preparation, kitchen management, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Handle POS systems such as INFOR and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Support inventory control efforts by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating food orders. Lead staff training sessions on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures to foster a knowledgeable team. Develop and implement community marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant locally through events, social media, and partnerships. Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets, control costs, and optimize food production processes. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants, casual dining, or fine dining environments. Strong background in food service management with skills in supervising teams, training staff, and overseeing kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems like INFOR and Micros POS along with cash handling procedures. Experience in community marketing or event planning within the hospitality industry is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and culinary techniques gained through restaurant or hotel experience. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment. Previous assistant manager experience preferred; a passion for hospitality management and customer service excellence is essential.
